For Attending Authors and Publishers:

MEET AND GREET (Friday, October 23, 2020)

Friday night is social time for authors and publishers to get together informally and enjoy each other's company. We start (sort of) around 7 pm, and go until we run out of words or whenever. Light refreshments are served, and the conversation is sparkling. We start in the Meeting Room (just inside and to the right of the main entrance) at the La Quinta, but can spill out into the lobby needed. This is a wonderful time to get to know your fellow authors, renew friendships, and relax in a pleasant setting.

BOOK SIGNING (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)
We have two tables reserved in Red Steagall's Trapping and Trade Show, which is being held in the Stockyards Station building again this year. As those of you who were here last year remember, the space is crowded, but is warm and dry (which has not always been the case!). The tables are there for your convenience: we do not sell the books there for you, but you are free (yes, it's free) to sell them yourselves. We work on the envelope system - when you come in, get an envelope and write the title(s) of your book(s), how many there are, and how much they cost. If you are not present when someone buys one of your books, the proceeds are put in your envelope and you can collect the money at the end of the day. It's not a formal book signing, and you don't need to be in attendance all three days. Having said that, those who work hardest at it sell the most books. Many people come through the room where the signing occurs. You can send books in advance to La Quinta, and we will carry them over to the trade show. However, we are not responsible for getting them back to you - be sure to pick them up before you leave for home. And yes, you can sell books that were not Will Rogers Medallion winners - but be aware of the space limitations. The sale/signings run from noon on Friday until sometime in the afternoon on Sunday. (The Trapping Show is actually open from 10 am - 6 pm all three days, but realistically, it runs from noon to 5-ish.)
