For Attending Authors and Publishers:

The Covid 19 disruption has finally affected us as well. Therefore, we are announcing that the 2020 Will Rogers Medallion Award Weekend and Banquet will be held the weekend of February 5th and 6th of 2021. The Award Banquet will be held in Ft. Worth on Saturday night, February 6th, at Coopers BBQ in the Stockyards. Thank you for your patience and understanding in these unusual and stressful times.

MEET AND GREET (Friday, February 5th, 2021)

Friday night is social time for authors and publishers to get together informally and enjoy each other's company. We start (sort of) around 7 pm, and go until we run out of words or whenever. Light refreshments are served or we will choose a restaurant to everyone's liking. The location of the Meet & Greet will be updated soon, as our attendance number will determine where we will be able to meet in this crazy year! This is a wonderful time to get to know your fellow authors, renew friendships, and relax in a pleasant setting.

BOOK SIGNING (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)

Unfortunately the Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering has been cancelled due to COVID capacity issues that would strongly affect their attendance. This sadly means that our book selling/signing at the Trappings Show will not take place this year. We hope to proceed with our plans for the Friday Meet and Greet and the big Awards Ceremony, but will keep a close eye on state/local regulations and safety issues.

AWARDS CEREMONY (Saturday, February 6th, 2021)

The rescheduled 2020 Award Ceremony will be held Saturday, February 6th, 2021 in the Ft. Worth Stockyards at Coopers BBQ (301 Stockyards Blvd, Fort Worth, 76164) from 5-9 PM. If you have not yet made your reservations, please let us know you plan to come so that we can update our numbers with the restaurant. A bbq buffet dinner will be safely served, to be followed by the WRMA Award Ceremony.
